What Is Joy but Small Kindnesses

a golden shovel after “Small Kindnesses” by Danusha Laméris

openings, strict deadline flexibility, offer moments
of relief, of getting what we need. Grace in the face of
the headlines we endure, the tired smiles we exchange.
