Adventist Health Clear Lake, part of Adventist Health, has gone live on Epic, a single connected electronic health record now used across Adventist Health’s hospitals and clinics. The new system gives Adventist Health’s care teams one complete view of each patient and reduces time spent on paperwork so clinicians can focus more fully on the people they serve.
For patients at Adventist Health Clear Lake, the change means their care team sees their full health story in one place, improving safety and coordination while offering simpler access to appointments, messages, and records through the MyChart patient portal.
For the clinicians and staff, modern AI-assisted tools ease documentation so care teams can spend more time at the bedside.
“This is the kind of investment we would want for our own families,” said Parker Pridgen, Network President. “It gives our caregivers the right information at the right time, allowing them to spend less time on technology and more time connecting with patients.”
The transition reflects Adventist Health’s mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness, and hope, and its commitment to the quality and coordination of care in Lake County.
