Adventist Health Clear Lake and Community Partners Invite Public to Participate in Community Health Survey

Adventist Health Clear Lake and a group of nonprofit organization partners are working together to conduct a survey of community health and well-being. Part of Adventist Health Clear Lake’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), the short, anonymous survey gives local residents the opportunity to weigh in on the quality of life in our community.

“As a nonprofit healthcare organization, it’s essential for us to ensure we’re effectively serving our community. This survey allows us to hear directly from our friends and neighbors about their top health needs,” says Chuck Kassis, Administrator of Adventist Health Clear Lake. “We are dedicated to collaborating with our community to build a healthy and happy future for everyone who calls Lake County home.”

Community Health Needs Assessments are conducted every three years by nonprofit hospitals such as Adventist Health Clear Lake. In addition to the survey, the hospital and its CHNA steering committee members host focus groups, listening sessions and look at data from multiple sources to create a comprehensive community needs assessment. The assessment is used to build strategies to address health needs; the hospital reports on these efforts on a yearly basis.

The survey is open June 24 to July 22, and community members can contribute their thoughts anonymously at AdventistHealthCHNA.org/ClearLake.
