Find Out at Napa Valley Museum’s “What’s It Worth?”

Is there a treasure chest in your attic? Or a pirate’s bounty in your cellar? Perhaps it’s the brooch you inherited from your aunt but will never wear, or a dusty painting that just might be a Picasso. This fall, Napa Valley Museum invites you to discover what your treasures could be worth while supporting arts and education in the community.

“What’s It Worth?” takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Napa Valley Museum Yountville. Experts from John Moran Auctioneers & Appraisers will provide valuations, giving participants a chance to learn whether a familiar keepsake might hold an unexpected surprise.

Tickets are $40 per person, and 100 percent of ticket proceeds support Napa Valley Museum. Appraisal sessions are limited, so reserve your time slot in advance.

There’s more to discover while you wait. Each ticket includes admission for two to “Mary Blair: Mid-Century Magic,” an exhibition from the Walt Disney Family Museum—a $40 value. Explore Blair’s colorful creative world in the Main Gallery, browse the museum store, and make a day of uncovering treasures. The exhibition has been extended through January 10, 2027.
