Lake County Farm Bureau Presents Annual Love of the Land Dinner – 6.22.24

Lake County Farm Bureau (LCFB) is delighted to extend a formal invitation to community members for the highly anticipated Annual Love of the Land Dinner. Scheduled to enchant guests on June 22nd at the stunning Mt. Konocti Winery, this soirée promises an evening of entertainment, wonderful dinner, and philanthropy, all in support of Lake County Farm Bureau and the LCFB Scholarship fund.

Commencing with a cocktail hour, guests will have the pleasure of mingling amidst the serene ambiance before the festivities commence.

The entertainment of the evening will be provided by the Black Horse Blue Band, known for their captivating performances spanning genres from blues to rock. Guests are in for a treat with a delicious Hawaiian BBQ crafted by the masterful hands of Barbecue by Biassotti.

In addition to the culinary and musical delights, LCFB will present several awards, including the Lifetime Agricultural Achievement Award, Farm Bureau Member of the Year Award, and Friend of Farming Award. These accolades pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary dedication, leadership, and innovation within the agricultural community of Lake County.

The festivities will culminate in the anticipated dessert auction, where guests can indulge in bidding on an assortment of decadent treats, with all proceeds directly benefiting the LCFB Scholarship fund. This fund plays a pivotal role in supporting the education and development of future leaders in agriculture, ensuring a vibrant and sustainable future for Lake County’s agricultural community.

“We are privileged to extend this invitation to the community to join us for an evening of celebration and philanthropy, as we come together to support the future of agriculture in Lake County,” said Rebecca Harper, Executive Director of Lake County Farm Bureau. “The Love of the Land Fundraiser Dinner promises to be a memorable occasion, offering a unique opportunity to honor the achievements of our agricultural community while making a meaningful difference in the lives of aspiring agricultural leaders.”
