Lake County Hot Ones is back again for another “not your parent’s fundraiser” raising money for nine local Lake County non-profits.
“Brew, Sip and Burn” Tickets now available. Saturday, April 30, 5-8 pm at the Ripe Choice Farm.
$100 ticket all-inclusive of dinner, drinks and “entertainment” (who doesn’t enjoy seeing someone’s mouth on fire.) In case you did not see last year’s extravaganza, see episode #1 of The Lake County Hot ones 2021 event.
MCs for the event will be Sheriff Brian Martin and Lake County Supervisor Tina Scott, veterans who survived the 2021 Hot Ones table. Tina Scott will also handle the silent and live auction.
Dinner will be served buffet style from multiple vendors – The Ripe Choice Catering: hearty farm to fork salad; The Saw Shop Food Truck: gourmet appetizer flatbreads; The Tiny Diner: tri-tip chili: Red’s at the Skyroom: Fire Roasted Street Corn with bacon, cotija, chipotle aioli and fresh lime; Dessert by Sweet Pea’s Ice Cream.
The format involves an interviewer host and nine guests representing nine non-profits eating seven chicken wings (or an alternative if the guest is vegetarian/vegan), each prepared with a progressively hotter hot sauce. Yes, based on the hit show, Hot Ones.
We will also have a silent and live auction with many fun items. All the proceeds from the auction will go to the remaining non-profits. All will walk away with something.
