Local author and life coach Mimi Whittaker is shining a light on the extraordinary citizens of Lake County in her new book, “Lake County Diamonds: Ten Remarkable People from Lake County, CA.” Whittaker will visit several branches of the Lake County Library to read a short excerpt from Lake County Diamonds and sign copies of her book.
In Lake County Diamonds, Whittaker shares a collection of vignettes about the lives of artists, overcomers, and other unique citizens of Lake County. She compares these citizens of Lake County to the quartz diamonds also found here. The Lake County Library invites the public to meet Whittaker at three events. Attendees will have a chance to learn more about Whittaker’s books. She will be visiting on the following dates:
