Join us at the Taylor Observatory on one of the longest days of the year to learn all about our star, the sun. Solar telescopes will be set up in the afternoon for guests to safely view the sun. In the evening, enter the planetarium for an explanation of the seasons and to view a series of short films about the sun.
Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open to all Lake County families.
This event will be hosted by the Lake County Office of Education, with astronomy expert Angelo Parisi.
