Leaders, business owners, and community members from across the Redwood Coast will gather October 1–2, 2026, at the Arcata Community Center for the annual Redwood Coast Region Economic Summit. This year’s theme, Rural Innovation: Build, Connect, Grow, sets the tone for two days dedicated to strengthening the region’s economic future.
The summit brings together participants from Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, and Trinity counties, as well as neighboring tribal lands, all working toward a shared goal: fostering innovation and collaboration across the region. This year’s conversations will spotlight manufacturing, networking, and partnership, highlighting everything from niche production to food and beverage as the region continues to adapt and grow.
Schedule
● October 1 – Day 1: The first day of the summit will feature insights from local and regional small businesses, including Mendocino County’s Artefex, Weaverville’s AhHome Chocolates, and Arcata’s Alchemy Distillery. The day will also offer opportunities for resource panels on funding and networking.
● October 2- Day 2: The final day of the summit will include business highlight presentations from the region, along with discussion about doing business in Humboldt County and how to best address the growth struggles businesses face in the region.
