For over sixty years, humans have sent spacecraft to explore the planet Mars. From orbit and on the surface, much has been discovered about the “Red Planet”.  What has been learned, and what new questions have arisen? Could there be life on Mars? Join us in the Norton Planetarium for an in-depth exploration of the planet Mars.

After this one hour planetarium presentation (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes. The evening’s highlights will include the Moon and Saturn.

Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open to all Lake County families. Lake County Office of Education Astronomy expert Angelo Parisi will host this event. For more information, contact Angelo Parisi at aparisi@lakecoe.org
