My band, AudioSoul, was scheduled to play Loch Lomond Roadhouse, but when I got there to start setting up the P.A., I was told the gig was canceled. Well, nobody told us. So, I will continue listing LLR shows but will add that you might want to call before making the drive. That goes for the musicians scheduled to play there. Anyhoo… the weather is going into a cooling pattern, if one can agree that low 80s to 90s is cooling. Either way, here’s the live music schedule for the week of 8/11 through 8/18…

Also, this is a personal request. Who doesn’t love Tommy Rox? I love Tommy Rox! T-Rox unfortunately is in the hospital dealing with serious leg/vein issues, and he needs some help with the exorbitant costs of his medical care. On August 30th, a little more than 2 weeks away, there will be a benefit concert featuring the Marin All Stars (and because Tommy knows so many bona fide musicians, there’s no telling who’s gonna be in that band). Regardless, the bills are astronomical! I’ll announce it again in two weeks. If you can find his GoFundMe page and you can donate, please do – otherwise come on out to his benefit. Let’s get our favorite troubadour back on his feet and rockin again…
Even though it’s gonna cool down this week, be prepared – so if and when you go out to enjoy the bounty of live music Lake County has to offer – wear a hat, loose clothing, find shade when you can, have fun – but most of all, please be safe…
